A VERY IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!

We are proud to announce some exciting news happening at St. Paul School. Beginning with the 2012-2013
academic year, the school will issue each 8th grade student their own iPad tablet. Also each 7th and 6th grade
student will be issued their own laptop computer.  We are also distributing to each middle school teacher an
iPad tablet so that they may incorporate these new tools into their lesson plans.

These devices are tools we are offering the students to enhance the academic experience they receive at St.
Paul. It is our intent to prepare all students with the necessary skills they will need to succeed in high school.
To help adjust to the changing manner in which students gather, analyze, and present information, we believe
it necessary that each student be equipped with modern tools to better handle challenges of class and home
work assignments.

A vital component to the deployment of this plan is wireless internet access. To address this need, The Good
Shepherd Network has contracted out for the installation of a wide area network for our campus. In addition to
internet access, this will also provide other benefits such as centralized monitoring and maintenance of
network resources. This part of the plan should be in place by early July.

This effort at improving our school would not be possible without the help of many dedicated people, including
staff members from the school, church and Good Shepherd Network. Also, many parents have assisted us
with their time, as well as financial and professional resources.  We are especially grateful for the families
that continue to support our educational mission here at St. Paul by entrusting us with the honor of educating
their children.
